For this edition I did not know what to write about. Linda Chuter was so patient and encouraging. I send her a voice msg explaining that I felt in the season i’m in that I didn’t feel I had a big revelation to share and I didn’t want to go back sharing about an revelation of the past. She encouraged me to write out of this season.
See, we all have seasons of great encouragement, prophetic word, amazing word revelation and huge excitement about what God has placed upon our life’s and has called us for.
But there’s also seasons of being faithful with what is at hand. Holding on to all the great prophetic word and promises but being in the moment, patient, prayerful, hopeful and at peace.
I count being a mom as one of the greatest
Gifts and blessing! Being able to be a stay at home mom is something i am extremely thankful for! I feel like this is what I have been called for and I wouldn’t change it for anything.
Yet, whenever me and my husband minister, i feel distracted. Ministering on the one side and thinking of little Hannah-Mé on the other side, is she fine, maybe shes hungry, I didn’t tell the person looking after her which toy is her favorite, and yet, in spite of my busy thoughts I have felt God’s faithfulness.
See, in this season I cant “earn” anything. I don’t have hours to spent in the word, listen to teachings or to journal, so the little moments of prayer and meditating on scripture is so precious. I get to experience Gods faithfulness when we minister not based on what I have done the previous week or the hours I have put in, but purely because He is good and faithful.
I get to experience Him in the small things, the “daily” things, for I know that He is Emmanuel, God with me.
May this be an encouragement to us, that no matter what we find ourselves doing, cooking, changing a diaper, working on the computer, hanging up washing, grocery shopping, in all this may we see our Abba smiling over us, full of compassion and love! Lets invite Him into our daily lives and we will soon find ourselves in heavenly places as we except His invitation during the day, to keep our eyes on Him!
We were made to be in His presence, and that is were we can be, in every season, in our very ordinary daily tasks we can be in His presence, making the ordinary extraordinary!
He sees you, He knows you, He loves you! You have great value!
